Welcome to We Care PE - An S4 Staff Initiative
We have teamed up with ONE12 run in order to give back to the Isithembiso Babies Home. ONE12 run is an endurance event inspired by Steven Lancaster, who will be running 4 x100 milers in 2019. Lancaster uses this event to raise funds for effective charities around South Africa.
We Care PE, an S4 staff initiative, will be hosting a family Fun Walk on the 28th of September 2019 at 11:00 at Grass Roof, Lovemore Park. The Fun Walk is a 5km walk, jog, sprint or whatever you feel for on the day!
The S4 Fun Walk aims to raise funds for the Isithembiso Babies Home based in Miramar, Port Elizabeth.

The S4 Integration Charity Foundation Committee (CFC) was founded to help further S4’s involvement within the Nelson Mandela Bay community. The CFC’s mission is to make a difference in someone’s life and for our first drive we have chosen to work with the Isithembiso Babies Home situated in Miramar, Port Elizabeth. Our vision is to grow the charity foundation to an extent that long-lasting relationships are formed and sustained within the community.
The Isithembiso Babies Home was established in 2005 and since then have cared for 140 babies. Their main objective is to provide a place of safety for babies from newborn to 3 years old who have been abandoned, abused, neglected or orphaned. In addition to that they nurture their physical, emotional and cognitive abilities in order to help place them in foster homes or adoptive homes. As the home wishes to provide the best care possible for their babies, they only take in six babies at a time.
